One year on since completion of Woodsend, we revisited the site and caught up with our clients to see how they’ve enjoyed living in their new home.
Woodsend is a Scandinavian inspired modernist superhome, nestled in the rural Nottinghamshire Green Belt. The project encapsulates the essence of JSA Architects, showcasing our team’s expertise, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence and sustainability. We’ve navigated intricate design challenges, harnessed the potential of sustainable technologies, and celebrated the fusion of modern style with nature. The project sparked a collaborative and creative energy, and every obstacle was an opportunity to innovate. Woodsend pushed the boundaries of what’s possible, and it’s been an absolute joy to see this vision come to life.
But the true measure of our success lies in the client’s satisfaction. Woodsend has not only met their expectations, but exceeded them. Running costs for the substantial building is almost nill and the internal environment is comfortable year-round, helped by the high performance building fabrics and intelligent technologies.
