Overview
On behalf of a private developer, JSA Architects have submitted a reserved matters planning application for the construction of two brand new dwellings in a backland plot in central Derbyshire. Our ‘Arlington Gardens’ project will provide a pair of stylish new detached family homes that infuse traditional and contemporary vernacular.

These new homes, designed as twins, will be built on a large backland site which share a private access road and large driveway. With traditional styling and materials, they will sit comfortably within their setting which is dominated by bespoke pre-1900 buildings, although contemporary twists have been employed to showcase the modern additions; flat-top chimney stacks, frameless Juliet balcony and exaggerated eaves profiles.
